5005 aluminum strip is a non-heat-treatable alloy known for its excellent corrosion resistance, good formability, and weldability. It belongs to the 5000 series of aluminum alloys, primarily composed of magnesium as the major alloying element. 5005 alloy is commonly used in various applications where moderate strength and high corrosion resistance are required.

The performance of 5005 aluminium alloy is similar to that of 3000 series 3003 aluminium strip, with moderate strength, good fusion, processing and formability, but its corrosion resistance and anodizing oxidation effect is better than that of 3003 aluminium alloy.

5005 Aluminum Strip Typical Temper

5005 H32:

This temper indicates that the strip has been strain-hardened and stabilized to a full hard condition.

Suitable for applications requiring moderate strength and excellent corrosion resistance.

5005 H34:

Similar to H32 but with additional work hardening.

Packaging and Delivery of Haomei Al.

Aluminum products of Haomei Al. meet the export standard. Plastic film and brown paper can be covered at customers’ need. What’s more, wooden case or wooden pallet is adopted to protect products from damage during the delivery. There are two kinds of packaging, which is eye to wall or eye to sky. Customers can choose either of them for their convenience. Generally speaking, there are 2 tons in one package, and loading 18-22 tons in 1×20′ container, and 20-24 tons in 1×40′ container.
