The magnesium content of 5052 aluminum is about 4%, so 5052 aluminum coil is a typical aluminum-magnesium alloy. The 5052 aluminum is a representative alloy grade of the 5000 series aluminum, it is widely used as a rust-proof aluminum and is regarded as one of the most promising aluminum sheets in the industry. The 5052 aluminum coil has very good molding processing properties, good corrosion resistance and excellent weldability, it is widely used in construction, automotive, marine, machinery manufacturing and other industries.
The commonly used tempers of aluminum coil 5052 are H22 and H32. 5052-H32 aluminum coil is is heat-treated and stabilized by low-temperature annealing after work hardening, and it is a commonly used aluminum-magnesium alloy, it is formed by hot processing and is soft in the 5052 aluminum coil sheet. It can be bent in 90 degrees, stamped and shallow stretching processing. The H22 temper is a common alloy state in a 5000 series aluminum sheet, which represents an increase in strength of the aluminum sheet coil after work hardening. The 5052-H22 aluminum sheet coil is stabilized by incomplete annealing after work hardening, and its hardness is soft in the 5 series aluminum plate, so that it has excellent ductility.
