In the pure aluminum anodizing grade system, 1100 is an often underestimated balanced substrate—containing no less than 99.0% aluminum, supplemented with 0.05%-0.20% copper for microalloying. It retains the excellent film-forming properties and corrosion resistance of pure aluminum while offering improved strength and formability compared to 1060/1050. Haomei Aluminum's 1100 anodized aluminum sheet is specifically developed for composite processing scenarios requiring uniform anodizing after deep drawing, bending, and welding, making it the preferred choice for customers in cookware, lighting, and chemical container industries.

The chemical composition of 1100 aluminum alloy is strictly controlled: aluminum ≥ 99.00%, copper 0.05%-0.20%, silicon + iron ≤ 0.95%, and impurities such as manganese, zinc, and titanium are all controlled within 0.05%. The presence of trace amounts of copper gives it an annealed tensile strength of 90-120 MPa, a yield strength of 35-50 MPa, and an elongation of 35%-45%, combining plasticity and structural strength within the pure aluminum series. The tensile strength in the H14 hardened state can be increased to 110-145 MPa, making it suitable for planar components requiring rigidity. Its electrical conductivity is approximately 56% IACS, and its thermal conductivity is 222 W/(m·K), demonstrating outstanding performance in heat dissipation and electrical conductivity applications. Due to its low alloy element content and uniform composition, 1100 anodized aluminum sheet exhibits stable film formation speed, high film transparency, and a clean, bright silvery-white metallic luster after oxidation. Its color consistency is superior to 5xxx series and 6xxx series aluminum materials containing more magnesium and silicon alloy elements.
Haomei 1100 anodized aluminum sheets cover a thickness range of 0.2-6.0mm, with 0.5-2.0mm being commonly used for deep drawing, and 2.0-4.0mm corresponding to structural components and welded parts. Standard sheet sizes include 1000×2000mm, 1220×2440mm, and 1500×3000mm. Continuous coil supply is also supported, with a maximum coil width of 1650mm, suitable for automated stamping production lines. Thickness tolerance conforms to GB/T 3880 standard, with a precision of ±0.03mm for thinner sheets, and a flatness of ≤0.5mm per meter. The oxide film thickness is customized in stages: 5-10μm economical film layer is used for general decorative and indoor scenes; 10-15μm standard film layer is matched with outdoor and mildly corrosive environments; and 15-25μm thicker film layer can be made for harsh environments such as coastal areas and chemical plants. Surface finishes are available in four base colors: natural silver, matte, brushed, and sandblasted. Colors cover the full range of colors including black, gold, champagne, and bronze, with batch color difference ΔE ≤ 1.2.
The core value of the 1100 aluminum sheet lies in the "form first, oxidize later" process chain. Due to its excellent plasticity, this material can complete complex processing such as deep drawing, spinning, bending, and welding without cracking. After processing, anodizing ensures that the film layer still evenly covers the formed curved surface and weld area, without uneven stripes or exposed substrate. In contrast, the higher strength 5xxx series and 6xxx series aluminum materials are prone to film color discoloration and localized fading due to grain deformation after deep drawing and oxidation. Haomei employs a sulfuric acid Type II anodizing process, controlling the oxidation tank temperature at 18-22℃ and the current density at 1.0-1.5A/dm². Combined with medium-temperature nickel salt sealing, the sealing weight loss is ≤0.5mg/dm². The finished product shows no corrosion after 1000 hours of neutral salt spray testing, and the color difference ΔE is ≤2.0 after 1000 hours of QUV aging, conforming to ASTM B580 and ISO 7599 standards.
The applications of 1100 anodized aluminum sheets are concentrated in three main scenarios:
First, kitchenware and food contact parts, such as cookware liners, lunch boxes, and food trays, where the non-toxic oxide film and excellent formability make it the mainstream choice;
Second, lighting fixtures and reflectors, relying on a visible light reflectivity of over 85% and heat dissipation performance, suitable for LED downlights, industrial lighting, streetlights, and other products;
Third, chemical tanks, nameplates, architectural decorative lines, electronic casings, and other components that combine formability and corrosion resistance.
Haomei 1100 anodized aluminum sheet products are RoHS and REACH certified and can provide food contact grade test reports. We maintains a regular inventory of the 1100 series, with a delivery cycle of 7-12 days for bulk orders. We support various trade terms such as FOB, CIF, and EXW, and settle in US dollars. Each batch comes with complete material certificates, salt spray test reports, and other export documents, and we can assist customers with customs clearance documentation at the destination.
